Arete Scholars Fund
Executive Director to Visit RAMAH
Mr. Derek Monjure, Executive Director of the Arete Scholars Fund will visit Ramah Junior Academy on Thursday, October 7, 2010.  He will be traveling with a media entourage, creating video and still shots for the Arete Scholars Fund web site and media package. This is the first year for the Arete Scholars Fund, which operates as a School Scholarship Organization  (SSO) and is fully funded by corporate donations.  The Arete Scholars Fund strives to advance educational freedom by offering K4-12 scholarships to low-income families enabling their children to reach their highest potential.
The first three scholarships given by this new scholarship organization were awarded to Ramah students, Carlethia Ingram, Parisian Barnes, and Brandice Ingram.  Monjure will present a framed award letter to the Ingram family as well as a framed Arete contract to the school.
RJA looks forward to a continued relationship with the Arete Scholars Fund as the fund makes it possible for hundreds of children to receive a GREAT education at Ramah!
